During the PA Young Women in Physics Conference, there will be two audience-directed panels. One will be comprised of undergraduate and graduate students from Bucknell University, Haverford College, and The Pennsylvania State University, who will discuss college life, physics majors and classes, and experiences as women in the field. The other will be made up of professors and conference speakers who will talk about their educational and career paths, life as a female scientist, and their meaningful educational, career, and life experiences.
On this page, please post any questions you would like to ask an undergraduate/graduate student or a professor. The panelists will introduce themselves and speak briefly on the topics above, but there will be time for audience questions at the end of each panel. You may submit questions anonymously if you prefer to do so, or you may attach your name to your question. Please post your questions as comments below.
There will also be a box at the conference where you will be able to submit questions for students or speakers anonymously.
The team hopes that these platforms will allow students to ask questions without feeling anxious in front of their peers and teachers.
